万安镇是福建省三明市将乐县北部的一个镇[1]，镇政府驻万安村，距县城27公里。“万安”二字取万福所在、诸事平安之意[2]。

镇境属丘陵山区，省道304厦甘线穿镇而过，京福高速公路在镇境内设有互通口。1984年10月由乡改镇，此前为公社。[3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

此地在宋元丰年间（1078—1085年）已有万安里之名。明代分为万安上都与下都，清代的建制大体沿袭明朝。[4]另有一说认为建制始于宋元年间，最初称“万安寨”。[3]

民国时期，1928年废除都图；1934年设立万安联保，隶第三区署。1939年联保改为镇，1941年转属第二区署，1945年11月镇又改为乡。[4]

新中国成立后，此地先于1950年设万安乡公所，次年另设福匡乡；1955年划为5个乡，统归万安区。1958年10月组建万安大队，隶红旗人民公社，后于1959年9月改为万安公社。1984年9月，公社先改为乡，同年10月又改为镇。[4]

地理环境[edit]

镇位于将乐县北部，东邻高唐镇，并与顺昌县接壤；西连大源乡，南毗古镛镇与光明乡，北抵安仁乡。博雅地名网载辖区面积约147.5平方公里，同一页另写作157平方公里。[3]

地势属丘陵山区，海拔为279米；气温温和，降雨丰沛，亚热带作物在这里能够生长。[3]

经济[edit]

镇内矿产有方解石、大理石、石灰石、钾长石、高岭土，以及铅、锌、锰、铁等。其中寺许方解石矿、解放桥和灯头的磁铁矿、坊头高岭土矿已经开采，以建榕矿业、榕禹矿业为龙头的矿产开发与加工企业由此形成。[3]

文化[edit]

据万安镇在县政府网站发布的一篇文章，镇里设有镇、村两级的文物巡查，村里的文物守护员每周到点巡查3次；此外推出了以「万安花灯」为代表的非遗传承活动，以及「何长工旧址爱国教育基地」，使非物质文化遗产与历史资源得到发掘利用。[5]

荣誉方面，环境保护部在2011年4月将万安镇定为「2011年度国家级生态乡镇」；2021年2月，万安镇列入「2018—2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单；2024年1月，万安镇被命名为「2023年福建省卫生乡镇」；2024年7月，万安镇列入「2024年福建省“全域生态旅游小镇”」名单。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

据该文，镇里先后完成「中共将乐县委旧址」与「何长工旧址」的修缮工程。[5]
