龙池社区是将乐县古镛镇下辖的社区，属镇中心区，1985年5月设立居民委员会。[1]

社区名见于明弘治年间《将乐县志》，据该志所载，地名来自唐代的一段传说。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代此地属龙池团，明代属龙池都。1930年代初至1934年，归东北门区苏维埃政府管辖。1939年成为龙池保的一部分，1952年改属城关镇。[1]

1984年9月，全县统一规划时划归古镛镇。1985年5月30日设立龙池居民委员会，批准机关为市、县两级人民政府，此后由古镛镇人民政府管辖。[1]

2024年7月，社区被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]

文化[edit]

据明弘治《将乐县志》，唐代大历年间有一位名叫廖藏祖的真人，看出两股水流交汇之处深不可测，认为有龙居于其中，便取名“龙池”，此后这一带也以龙池作为都名。[1]
