上宅村位于台溪乡南麓，村名因地处山坡之上、房屋建得较高而得。[1][2][3]

村落北面与书京村相邻，南面接福廷坑村，西面连坂面乡，东面为桃坪村。全村辖2个自然村、9个村民小组。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

此地旧时归二十五都，解放前属富泽保，解放初划入腾园乡。1958年归福廷坑大队，1981年析出，另立上宅大队；1984年改为上宅村，设村民委员会。[4]

人口与生活[edit]

全村203户、771人，未注统计年份。林地7804亩，耕地684亩，土地合计9791亩。[2]

自然与资源[edit]

村域地下蕴藏石灰石、硅灰石与滑石粉土，目前已开发利用。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年7月，上宅村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
