后洋村是尤溪县西城镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区东南，距镇政府约5千米。青印溪流经村中，两岸绿竹成片。[2]

2021年11月，后洋村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年10月，经福建省农业农村厅认定，定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地属尤溪县五都，民国时期称后坪保。解放初，后坪与东村曾合为东后乡；1952年冬，该村自东后乡分出，另立后坪乡。1958年设后坪大队，归城关公社辖，1969年改属团结公社。因与西滨镇的后坪大队重名，1981年改名后洋大队，1984年定名后洋村。[1]
