历史沿革[edit]
村中历史可上溯到唐代以前，有人类迁来开发[2]。明清时为十八都辖地。民国时属华辛乡，设华兰保；解放初成为华兰乡，归溪尾区管辖[1]。1958年设华兰大队，1984年才称华兰村，并设村委会[1]。其后，原来的村域分为三个行政村[2]。
人口与生产[edit]
全村482户、1957人，辖2个自然村、15个村民小组，耕地22297亩，林地19000多亩，森林覆盖率80%以上[2]。
古迹[edit]
村中有长安桥桥墩，旧时是通往尤溪口、福州的要道[2]。象山堂庙位于村东南的象山上，文革中被毁，现已部分修复[2]。
人才[edit]
据各姓族谱记载，村中历史上出过进士1人、知府2人、知县1人，另有举人、贡生、秀才若干[2]。
