汉口村位于湖美乡南侧，距乡政府约9公里。[1]

村名的由来与祖祠有关：旧称巷口，村落地形如巷，祖祠建在巷口处，因方言“巷”“汉”同音而称汉口。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年改称湖美乡汉口村。1961年村子从原有大队中分出，设为汉口大队；1958年时村子属湖美公社。[1]

在此之前，1950年2月村子属大田第七区林兜乡；民国时期归京仙乡，明清则在大田东区三十都。[1]

文化[edit]

2024年7月，本村被列为2023年度三明市达标「六无」村（社区）。[1]
