历史沿革[edit]
1984年，此地定名为湖美乡仁美村。1961年村子从湖上分离出来，另设仁美大队；1958年湖美公社成立时，二者仍同属一个大队。[1]
更早的时候，村境归大田东区第三十一都所辖，民国年间划入京仙乡，1950年2月并入大田第七区的湖美乡。[1]
1997年村庄一度并入他处，2000年重新独立设村，沿用至今。[1]
