白玉村是谢洋乡下辖的行政村，因修建坑口水库时迁建而更名，雅称白玉。[1]

地名由来[edit]

因修建坑口水库而迁建更名，取村境优美之意，雅称白玉。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

早年此地归黄认团，民国时在谢武乡的科里保之内。新中国成立后划入大田第六区，之后经均溪区、武陵公社，1961年成为谢洋公社科里大队的一部分。1976年由科里分离出来，另设谢洋良种场。[1]

1984年建乡，良种场改为白玉村村民委员会。1997年白玉与坑口合为一村，2010年再度分开，另设白玉村村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年7月，白玉村先后被命名为「2023年度三明市达标六无村（社区）」，并被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标六无村（社区）」。[1]
