白玉村是梅州市梅县区松源镇辖下的行政村。据博雅地名网，抗日战争前后饥荒，村中有一种叫白叶子的树叶，村民用它充饥，甚至挑到街上卖，村子被称作白叶番，新中国成立后改名白玉村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村在1983年设白玉乡，1988年改为白玉管理区，1999年为白玉村民委员会。[1]
荣誉与人文[edit]
白玉村在2019年9月公布的2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单中在列；2026年3月又入选广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]一篇游记写道：村子在海拔六百余米的四面环山小盆地里，被称为梅县区首个省级绿美古树乡村；现存客家传统民居11座，大多建于明末清初，其中丘氏宗祠的始建年份为1585年。[2]
