龙口村属大田县梅山镇，位于镇域南部，依傍高峰山脚，地处戴云山西侧。[1][2]

村名的来历是：此处水尾有成片树林，树林的出口称“林口”，方言中“林”“龙”音近，遂写作龙口。[1]

全村下辖五个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代此地为大田三十都的辖地，1940年前后划为第二区，1950年2月起隶第五区。[1]

1958年为梅山公社的龙口大队。1984年设梅山乡龙口村村民委员会，2018年梅山乡改为镇，村委会名称随之更换为梅山镇龙口村村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，龙口村获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
