后洋村位于文江镇南部，东侧与前坪乡黄垅村相连，西侧与太华镇华山村相接，距县城约30公里。[1]

广大线这条县道由南至北穿过村子，此前连年被列为市级新农村建设试点村。[1][2]

村民种植木薯、油茶与生姜，形成了特色农业。村内推广沼气池，畜禽粪便得到综合利用。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，后洋村被福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

2024年7月，该村先后取得「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」的命名，并被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
