大中村位于文江镇东南部，村域东侧靠近尤溪县新阳镇。全村辖6个自然村。[1]

村委会驻在自然村大类，因位于全村中部，取名大中。村中的洋梅片有佛公文化遗产，仁坂片有李公庵文化遗产，两者都有传承保护。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2022年10月，大中村经福建省农业农村厅认定，列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

2024年1月，本村获得「2023年福建省卫生村」称号；同年7月，又取得「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」称号。[1]
