太华镇位于福建省三明市大田县西北部，辖24个行政村，离县城约30公里。镇内多山地丘陵，省道217线穿过8个村，田安高速经过境内。境内煤炭、铁矿等矿产较多，农业种植有水稻制种、烟叶和蔬菜等。镇内的泰安堡和广崇堂两座土堡属大田土堡群，为全国重点文物保护单位，另有省级文物保护单位魁城连氏祖屋。[1][3][4][9]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，镇域内黄埔山、万湖结火岭一带发现的石器和印纹陶片可证，约四千年前已有先民在此聚居耕耘。[3]
1934年设太华乡。此后几经变动：1958年改为太华公社，1961年汤泉另立公社，1970年又并回太华公社，1984年改称太华乡，1994年撤乡设镇，称太华镇，沿用至今。[2]
地名的来历，据博雅地名网所载，是取“风景华美、居民康泰”之意。[2]
地理环境[edit]
太华镇坐落在大田县西北面，去县城约三十公里，面积为245.54平方千米（大田县人民政府网乡镇概况，该页发布于2025年11月）。[1]
镇内地处丘陵地带，省道217线穿过8个村，田安高速过境，泉三高速上京互通口距镇区约8公里，交通较为便利。[1][3]
境内煤炭、铁矿、铅锌矿和石英石矿等矿产资源较多。[1]
经济[edit]
农业上主推水稻制种、烟草与蔬菜类作物，另有白槿花、绞股蓝等特色作物，养殖则有大田槐猪和热带鱼虾。汤泉米糕和仙师泉山泉水已成为县域的特色品牌。[1]
工业方面，红狮水泥与科达新能源两家企业在镇内居于重点地位。[1]
文化[edit]
镇内通行前路话，即大田话，属县内前路片区。[10]
镇内传统民俗有汉剧、迎花灯、迎铁枝和稻草龙等，其中华溪村的稻草龙已获评市级非物质文化遗产。[1]
魁城村有对台宗亲文化，万湖村的“一堡三园”是镇内的乡村特色之一，该村的党建主题公园、乡村振兴馆和汉剧文化园也连成一线。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
大田土堡群的各座土堡始建于宋元，明清时大量兴建，民国时期仍有零星修建。2013年3月，这一群土堡中有五座被定为第七批全国重点文物保护单位，它们是泰安堡、广崇堂、芳联堡、安良堡与琵琶堡，统称大田土堡群。镇内的泰安堡和广崇堂两座土堡位于小华村。[4][5][6]
魁城连氏祖屋又名龙井祠，为魁城连氏的总祠。祠堂始建于宋宝祐二年，即1254年，清嘉庆四年（1799年）又经重修。建筑为木结构，分前后两堂，祠内有井三眼。2009年11月列为福建省省级文物保护单位。[4][7][8]
县级文物保护单位中，魁城村有连胤墓（明代，2009年1月公布）、步云楼和敦义堂（清代，均为2019年12月公布），万湖村有连揔墓（清代，2009年1月公布）。[4]
