地名由来[edit]
村名取辖内火烧桥、斜山两个自然村各一字而成。[4]
地理环境[edit]
村落占地约1.8平方千米，地处戴云山西侧，溪流贯穿村境，林木以杉、松和竹木为主。[2]
人口[edit]
全村156户726人（博雅地名网，未注统计年份），辖4个自然村，设6个村民小组。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此地原属漳平县聚贤里，清代设桃源社。民国时划为大田第三区的桃源乡辖地，1955年转入第二区桃源乡，1958年公社化后归桃源公社。[3]
1960年四个自然村组成桥山大队，1984年定名桃源镇桥山村。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2024年7月，桥山村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
