地理环境[edit]
村东与小华红狮水泥集团为邻，南面紧挨永安煤业柯坑煤矿，西侧连接黄城村，北面接华溪村。离省道约3公里。[2]
村域属丘陵盆地，四季分明，亚热带海洋性季风气候，交通方便。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
明代，本村属大田北区的三十六都；民国时划入太华乡。1950年2月归大田县第二区，1957年撤区后并入上京乡。[1]
1958年改属桃源公社，1961年又改属上京公社。1984年起称上京镇上平村村民委员会，至今未变。[1]
荣誉[edit]
福建省爱国卫生运动委员会于2022年12月，把本村评为「2022年福建省卫生村」；同月，福建省绿化委员会命名本村为「2022年福建省森林村庄」。[1]
