石牌镇位于福建省三明市大田县城南部，镇政府距县政府约6公里，是县城南面的门户。全镇面积138.5平方千米。[1]

镇名出自集镇后山岬间的几块大石碑。境内溪沟发育，武陵溪与屏山溪在镇内会合后汇入均溪，地势南西高、北东低。[2][3]

镇域地下热水丰富，每日出水可达3000吨。国道356线与纵五线穿过境内，泉三高速在老厝村有一处出入口，兴泉铁路则在小湖村辟有货运站。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代，这一带属大田县进城乡的三十三、四都。1950年在此设石牌乡，隶属均溪区；1958年划归均溪公社，1961年改属小湖公社，1970年迁址石牌、改称红湖公社。[2]

1981年，因社名与驻地不符，改名石牌公社；1984年改设石牌乡，1997年撤乡建镇，沿用至今。[2]

镇内有10个革命老区村，朱德等老一辈革命家曾驻扎在老厝等村。[1]

地理环境[edit]

石牌镇属低山丘陵地貌，镇政府所在地是全镇海拔最低处，标高390米；镇境气候属中亚热带海洋性季风类型，年平均气温18摄氏度左右。[3]

林地面积约有15万亩，覆盖率达到77.1%，全镇是省级生态文明乡镇。大仙峰自然保护区范围涉及镇内5个行政村。[1]

2014年9月，石牌镇获得2012至2013年度的「国家级生态乡镇」认定，授予机关为国家环保主管部门。[2]

镇内地热水中含有硫酸根、氟、铁、钙等微量元素。[1]

镇上的招牌吃食是大骨头，此菜在2017年被选进厦门金砖会晤的特色菜谱。[1]

特产方面，博雅地名网提到永仙鸡、大田兔肉，另有大田槐猪、雪山萝卜与高山茶等。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

红军标语绳组堂旧址在老厝村，门牌为39号。1929年8月，朱德带领红四军两个纵队的三千多名官兵从武陵方向开进大田，目标之一是县城周边的霞山、白岩山、马路岭三座炮楼。[2]

盖山村保存有近5公里长的红色古驿道，大仙峰自然保护区覆盖的5个村中，盖山村列入第五批中国传统村落名录。[1]

石牌镇政府网站称，京程村入选「第三批省级传统村落」。[1]

著名人物[edit]

中国科学院院士郑有炓是上坡村人。他1935年10月生于福建大田，专攻半导体材料与器件物理，1957年毕业于南京大学物理系，2003年当选中国科学院院士。[1][4]

东北大学教授乐启炽是桃坑村人，2023年度获国家科学技术进步奖二等奖。[1]
