华坑村位于大田县城区西北部，距县城约6公里，海拔约450米，属均溪镇。村子以农业为主。[1]
1984年改设华坑村民委员会，沿用至今。2024年7月，村被列为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时期，本地属三十三四都，当地民众习惯称三十二都。1950年2月县政府成立后，华坑归华太乡，属第一区。[1]
1955年设华坑乡，属第一区；1956年改属均溪区。1958年8月建立华坑大队，归东风公社（均溪）；1970年改归城关公社。1984年设村民委员会。[1][2]
地理环境[edit]
村辖上坪、蕨坑、下洋、凉岬等4个自然村，共6个村民小组。[1]
2012年末，村有332户，总人口1079人。村域面积9584.25亩，其中耕地838.95亩，林地6399亩。[1]
经济[edit]
村民收入主要来自种植、养殖和外出务工。1995年起村民大面积种植板栗，面积达一千余亩，成为村中特色产业。[1]
