玉田村位于大田县城区西南侧，属均溪镇，俗称小田。村内留有抗战时期「第二集美学村」的旧址群。[1]

村名取自此地田地肥沃、稻谷饱满的景象。1984年设玉田村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

地名由来[edit]

因田地肥沃，稻谷硕大饱满，故名玉田。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

公元905年，范元超与其子范子高弃职携眷，迁至尤溪县丰城乡，即今大田县小田一带定居，后代在此繁衍，开辟田园。[1]

明清两代，此地归三十三四都（坊都）。1939年前后，厦门集美的一所职业学校迁到小田，陈嘉庚亲到小田发表抗日宣传讲话。[1]

1950年2月县政权建立后，玉田乡先后组织互助组、初级社与高级社。1958年8月，玉田改设大队式的管理机构，归东风公社（均溪）管辖。1984年，改设村民委员会。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村辖自然村共六处，有赤雾仔、长兜坑、白岩、西门头、后坂洋与小田坂。[1]

人口[edit]

2011年时，村内编为21个村民小组，共1396户；连寄户人口一并计算，总数为4670人。[1]

文化[edit]

玉田板凳龙已列入国家级非物质文化遗产名录，县政府网站将其列为均溪镇的非遗项目。[3]

2025年3月，玉田村被命名为第七届全国文明村镇。[1]

2012年9月，村内的《官厅》获中央党史研究室列为「大田中央苏区革命历史陈列馆」。此前，县政府在2010年认定村为革命老区村，三明市委党史研究室则将玉田村列为「三明市首批中央红军村」。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

抗战时期大田“第二集美学村”旧址群位于本村，年代为1938年至1946年，内含后池祠、磐山祠、青松堂等建筑。[1]

1929年8月，朱德率红四军第二、第三纵队留驻大田期间，于屏山乡与本村一带留下史迹群，其中包括举人厝、玉润堂和蛇形厝。[1]
