历史沿革[edit]
村落历史已近六百年[2]。明清时期属永丰里，民国时期属永丰乡，称半溪保。建国初设半溪乡，1958年为中沙公社半溪大队，1966年改称红辉大队，1974年复名半溪大队，1984年设半溪村民委员会[1]。
地理环境[edit]
村落呈东西向的长条形，村中两条闽江源支流呈Y字形，自北向南穿村而过。60年代，上游建有两座小水电站，河床复杂，水产资源丰富[2]。
名胜古迹[edit]
村中有一座八角庙，上世纪90年代重修[2]。
经济[edit]
村民种植水稻、烟草与食用菌，村内山林盛产松脂，其中一部分山林划为国有生态公益林[2]。
