上坪村是宁化县城南镇下辖的行政村，位于县城南端，海拔680米，是城南镇唯一的高山行政村。全村为一个自然村，分3个村民小组。[1][4]

历史沿革[edit]

上坪旧时称南村。明清时期此地属兴善里，民国时期为城南镇下的上坪保。[2][3]

新中国成立初期设上坪乡，属第一区；1956年改属鱼龙乡，1958年划入横锁公社鱼龙大队，下设3个生产队。1975年设上坪大队，1984年改设上坪村民委员会，隶属横锁乡；1992年横锁乡改称城南乡，村随之归其管辖。[3]

2020年12月，村庄入选「2020年福建省森林村庄」；2021年11月，被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2018年，村庄入选「全国中小学生研学实践教育基地」。[1][4]

地理环境[edit]

村庄海拔680米，村中森林面积9800亩，其中竹林3000亩；盛产野生红菇和毛竹。[1][4]

文化[edit]

村中现存张氏祖祠和马氏祖祠等古建筑，另有多处古民居、祠堂、古井，以及老街和旧巷。[1][4]

村中还有南山古刹、水口庙和覆灵山寺。[1][4]

「南岭清秋·花漾上坪」是村里的省级森林康养基地，村内发展生态旅游。[4]
