罗坑村位于淮土镇，明代有罗姓在坑垅一带开基，村名由此而来。[1]

2022年12月，村子获评「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清时村子属龙上下里；民国时属凤山乡，与周边数个小地名合并为楮树保。[2]

建国初改设罗坑村，归禾口二区凤山乡；1951年改为罗坑乡，1952年并入吴陂乡。[1][2]

1958年属淮土公社，设罗坑营；1961年设罗坑大队，1974年恢复罗坑大队之名，1984年改设淮土乡罗坑村民委员会。[1][2]
