安远镇北部的东桥畲族村，地处宁化与建宁两县交界，与建宁县伊家乡相毗邻。[1]

本村1982年获县里认定为少数民族畲族村；2004年复核认定时，畲族人口742人，占总人口的32%，畲族以雷姓为主，兰姓次之。[1]

荣誉：2024年7月，被命名「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

赵家源李氏家庙位于赵家源自然村，为清代祠堂，2011年11月18日由宁化县人民政府公布为第四批县级文物保护单位。[3][4]

县规划列有“安远赵家源古民居群”。[5]

第二次国内革命战争时期，红军曾在鸡公山激战两天。[2]
