增坑村位于安远镇西北部，北面与建宁县黄埠乡接壤，东侧是灵丰山村，西侧与洪围村相连。[1]
村所在地为坑谷，且村中有砖瓦厂，“增”与方言中的“砖”音近，村名由此而来。[1]
荣誉：2024年7月，被命名「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，并被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明朝即已建村。清光绪年间归招得里安远司的四都；苏区时期，此村隶于彭湃县的罗口乡。民国设增坑保，建国初为增坑乡；1958年成为增坑大队，1984年设增坑村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村内毛竹资源丰富，出产冬笋、笋干和红菇。[2]
