石牛村是福建省三明市宁化县曹坊镇下辖的行政村，位于宁化县南端，东与清流县里田乡交界，距县城约45公里[1]。村名相传源于古时一头神牛到此后化为石牛[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村落建于宋代[1]，宋时设有驿站，名「石牛驿」[2]。雍正十二年（1734年），此地置石牛司，职能与古宁化巡检司相当[2]。民国年间办有翠峰书院，其旧址后为双石小学[2]。1984年改设曹坊乡石牛村民委员会[1]。

文化[edit]

2018年7月，村落被农业农村部认定为「第八批全国一村一品示范村镇」（闽娇辣椒）；2020年12月，入选「2019年度福建省一村一品示范村」名单（辣椒）[1]。2021年4月，被评为「2020年度福建省乡村振兴实绩突出村」[1]。2021年11月，被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」[1]。2022年10月，被认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」[1]。2023年2月，村落获评省级乡村振兴示范村[3]。2023年7月，村内的下赖赖氏宗祠获评宁化县家风家教示范基地，同批入选的还有曹坊中心学校[3]。2024年7月，被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」[1]。
