城西社区位于宁化城区西部，属翠江镇。社区名取自其所在的方位，2010年设立社区居民委员会。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地属县城中的上进贤坊，民国时期属第一区城南镇小溪保，1956年成立小溪居民办事处，1984年改属翠江镇，2010年设立城西社区居民委员会。2022年12月，城西社区获「2022年福建省卫生社区」称号，授予单位为福建省爱国卫生运动委员会。[1]
