古坑村在清流县南端，距县城65公里，北沙线从村中穿过。村名的由来是建村较早，且建在一条山坑之中。县里将本村列为百年以上古村落。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立前，此地属仁里乡管辖；新中国成立初期划为清流县第四区的古坑乡。1958年公社化时，本村设古坑公社古坑大队；1961年至1970年间，古坑公社驻地设在此村；1984年改设古坑村并成立村民委员会。县志（民国）中记有此地的“保”，专名延续到今天作村名，因而列入百年以上古村落。[1][2]

耕地面积2250亩，山地面积13822亩，合计土地18789亩。村内以烤烟、红心地瓜为主要种植作物，也养殖山地鸡。[3]

文化[edit]

2022年10月，本村被福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2024年1月，本村获「2023年福建省卫生村」的命名；2024年7月，又获「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」的命名。[1]
