九龙社区是嵩口镇下辖的社区，位于清流县中部，处在嵩口的镇区之内，是镇里唯一的社区。省道307线自南至北穿过社区范围。[1][2]

社区因位于九龙溪旁而得名。[4]

社区处在镇区中心一带，距县城16公里，省道307线贯穿南北，交通便捷。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1990年，九龙社区居民委员会成立，此后这一名称一直沿用至今。[3]

社区于2022年12月获福建省爱国卫生运动委员会授予「2022年福建省卫生社区」的称号。[1]

经济[edit]

社区内有农贸市场和超市各一处，又有镇直单位与企业，是清流县中部的商业贸易集散地之一。[2]

社区内有一座寺庙，名叫嵩峰寺。[1]
