大洋村在盖洋镇西南部，距镇区12公里，与清流县林畲镇交界[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村名的由来是村子所在地势平坦宽阔[1]。1983年设盖洋区大洋乡政府，1987年改设盖洋镇大洋村民委员会，沿用至今[1]。

2024年7月，大洋村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，又被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」[1]。
