龙泉村是南霞乡下辖的一个行政村，离乡政府约11公里，东边与尤溪县管前乡接壤。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年，本地由大队改设为村，同时成立龙泉村村民委员会，名称延用至今。在此之前，这里明清时属八都，民国时期归南霞乡的泮岭保。[2]

建国初期，村地先归二区的泮岭乡；1955年改隶镇头区的下洋乡，1958年又设大队。[2]

村名的来历是：村边有泉水流出，传说这里是龙吐水的地方，故得名。[2]

2024年7月，龙泉村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[2]
