罗坑村位于夏茂镇南部，距集镇约7.5公里。村地势较平，原称罗坑坪，后去掉“坪”字，只取“罗坑”二字，据博雅地名网。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

原属十八都。新中国成立后设夏茂区罗坑乡；1961年，此地改为夏茂公社下的罗坑大队，1984年起称罗坑村村民委员会。[2]

人口与土地[edit]

2017年政府页称，村内有罗坑主村、倪厝、安楼三个自然村，分为11个村民小组，共446户，2100人；谢、蔡、俆等姓氏并存。全村土地8933.85亩，林地5867亩，耕地1826.96亩。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

政府页记有桃源洞别墅一处，其建造年代为明洪武八年（1375年）。[1]

「罗坑苏维埃政府旧址」即原桃源洞，1934年为苏维埃政府所在，2018年列入第九批省级文物保护单位。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，罗坑村获「2021年福建省卫生村」的命名。[2]
