田口村位于沙县城东，辖田口、水北、东山下三个自然村，土地总面积4944亩，村民以范、黄二姓为主。[1]

村名原作田坑口，村前为平田、村尾有山口，因此改称田口。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1961年，析置田口大队；1984年，改为琅口乡田口村村民委员会。2003年，村并入虬江街道办事处。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年7月，村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标六无村（社区）」。[2]
