城西社区是福建省三明市沙县区凤岗街道下辖的社区，位于城区西部，办公地在李纲西路24号。辖区面积0.9平方千米，总人口1.2万余人，其中流动人口4000余人。[1]

社区因地处县城西部而得名。辖区内交通运输、小商品批发、农产品贸易和农业科技推广的机构较为集中。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1963年11月，社区的前身西门外居民委员会由城区原一街的非农业居民析出设立，次年1月正式成立。[2]

1981年改称城西居民委员会，归城关镇管辖；1998年8月，其部分地段划出，另设石桥居民委员会。此后，2001年6月起称城西社区居民委员会。2003年9月，社区归凤岗街道办事处管辖。[2]

2018年1月，社区办公地迁至李纲西路24号。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年4月，社区被命名为「2021年三明市民主法治示范村（社区）」；2022年12月，被福建省爱国卫生运动委员会命名为「2022年福建省卫生社区」。[2]
