草洋村是福建省三明市三元区中村乡下辖的行政村，村名由旧时的一处水生植物而来。[1]
地名由来[edit]
旧时祖厝原址上自然生长着金鱼藻，原名「藻洋」，后来改称草洋。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此地过去曾隶属沙县，后并入三元县辖区。建国初期这里一度设草洋乡，1954年先办起初级合作社，不久转为高级社。[1]
公社化后，本村划入中村公社，设草洋大队；1983年此地改设中村办事处下的草洋村，1987年撤办事处建乡，草洋村随之设村民委员会。[1]
文化[edit]
荣誉方面，本村2024年1月获「2023年福建省卫生村」称号，同年7月入选「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」名单。[1]
