黄砂村是莘口镇下辖的行政村，村名来自村旁的黄砂溪。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此地古称黄砂口，旧属沙县二十三都管辖。[1]
1940年三元设县后，黄砂归三元县管辖并设保；解放后的1950年建乡；1958年并入莘口公社，改为大队。[1]
1983年，黄砂改设莘口办事处下的黄砂村；1987年改为黄砂村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
文化[edit]
2021年11月，福建省爱卫办将本村命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
