乌亭下 Wutingxia

钟山镇位于福建省莆田市仙游县东北部，镇域多山地，境内有九鲤湖与麦斜岩两处名胜。^[1]^[2]

九鲤湖以九鲤飞瀑和祈梦习俗为人所知，明代旅行家徐霞客曾将它与武夷山、玉华洞并称「福建三绝」，景区为省级风景名胜区。^[3]^[5]^[8]

麦斜岩以奇石怪洞见称，1930年10月中国工农红军第108团在此组建，相关旧址于2001年列为莆田市首批爱国主义教育基地。^[6]^[7]

历史沿革[edit]

北宋太平兴国五年（980年）起，今镇域隶属兴化县来苏里，这一建制延续至明正统十二年（1447年）。^[2]

明正统十三年（1448年）以后，这里改属兴泰里，清代沿用此制。^[2]

中华人民共和国成立后，镇域先后划入九区与钟山区。1958年9月，此地划归麦斜人民公社；1961年底设立钟山公社，此后在1984年12月改为乡人民政府，到1992年11月乡又变为镇。^[1]^[2]

镇名来自镇政府驻地所在的钟山村。该村境内一处居民点原名三角埕，村后山形似铜钟，此后镇政府驻入该村，镇名也由此而来。^[2]

2011年4月，环境保护部授予钟山镇「2011年度国家级生态乡镇」称号；2021年9月，钟山镇被认定为「第二批全国乡村治理示范乡镇」；同年年底，钟山镇获得「2022年福建省卫生乡镇」的称号，颁发单位为福建省爱国卫生运动委员会。^[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

九鲤湖位于镇域内，海拔约590米，景区有九鲤飞瀑、摩崖石刻和祈梦习俗等内容，其中的祈梦程式流传已久。^[3]^[5]^[8]

麦斜岩位于镇北，主峰海拔1006.5米，岩石群与洞穴密布，宋代理学家林光朝称之为「小武夷山」。^[6]^[9]

中国工农红军第108团旧址在麦斜村的麦斜岩。1930年10月，邓子恢在此组建红军第108团，此后部队在国民党军清剿下转入分散活动。^[6]^[7]

蛇湾城遗址在鸣和村东南约1500米处，为汉代遗存，1987年6月普查发现，1989年11月列为仙游县县级文物保护单位。^[4]
