东石村是福建省莆田市仙游县园庄镇下辖的行政村，位于镇政府驻地西北侧，村委会设在樟下自然村。[1]

村名取自境内两个自然村：“东门”与“老石”各取一字，合为东石。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

中华人民共和国成立前，村地属慈孝乡。此后划入第三区，1951年改属十二区，1958年归园庄公社。1984年，东石村村民委员会设立，隶属园庄乡。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

东石土楼是一座清代方形土楼，坐北向南，高三层，中设天井。土楼建于清康熙四十九年（1710年），由东里人郑珠甫为抗御山寇而建。[1][2]

村内另有东石东门民居与东石兴龙宫，均为一般不可移动文物点；东石傅淇墓是仙游县第一批县级文物保护单位。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年10月，村获得「2022年度莆田市中级版绿盈乡村」称号；2024年1月，村获评「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
