洋尾村是福建省莆田市仙游县园庄镇下辖的行政村，位于镇政府驻地西侧，村委会设在洋尾自然村。[1]

村名的来历与地貌有关：村落位于一片大平洋的尾端，传说九龙山的一条龙脉穿过这一带，黄姓先祖在此定居，故称“龙洋洋尾”，简称洋尾。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

南宋时期，黄姓子孙迁居于此。古时的洋尾保在1945年与泗洲保合并，改称泗洋保。中华人民共和国成立后这里设为泗洋乡，1950年划入第三区，1951年改属十二区，1956年归枫亭区，此后并入园庄公社（1958年）；泗洋乡的一分为二发生在1961年，形成泗洋村与洋尾村两村；1984年，洋尾村村民委员会设立，隶属园庄乡。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

玉井宫群众大会会址位于前厝自然村，与1949年初刘佐周等人在慈孝地区发动群众、发展党员、重建武装的活动相关。[1]

洋尾黄氏忠孝祠位于前厝，为仙游县第六批县级文物保护单位。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，洋尾村获评「2023年福建省卫生村」；2024年6月，「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单公布，本村上榜。[1]
