玉山村位于赖店镇内，村名的来历与村中一处山地有关：据博雅地名网，村中牛腹里是宋代议大夫陈坤的发祥之地，后人便以「玉山」命名此地。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前，此地归孝仁乡。新中国成立后，村子先入一区，继而改属二区，1956年归城关区，1958年转赖店公社。1960年，玉山村与珠山村并为一村；1962年成为玉山大队，1984年隶赖店乡玉山村，1992年后属赖店镇。[1]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，玉山村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

玉山井亭宫在井田自然村，是仙游县第五（一期）批县级文物保护单位。[1]
