东桥社区居委会位于仙游县东部的榜头镇中心，北邻仙榜公路，南北向的濑榜公路贯穿整个社区，南邻坝下工艺城。2001年成立东桥社区居民委员会。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1948年此地为东桥乡。建国前它归榜头镇管辖，此后隶属关系几经变动：1950年归第二区，1951年转入第五区，1956年改属榜头区，1958年划入榜头公社。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

东桥普明书院是仙游县第四批县级文物保护单位，位于东桥街东街头，为古建筑。社区内另有东桥旧宫，是县一般不可移动文物点。[1]

据社区概况，境内的县级文物保护单位还有普明祠和兴贤庙，文献资料保存完整。[2]
