海滨村隶属福建省莆田市仙游县枫亭镇，地处沿海，位于湄洲湾西畔，东与城厢区东海沙村相邻。[1][4]

村名与村民靠海为生有关。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立前此地隶枫亭镇，1950年划入第三区，1956年改属枫亭区，1958年归枫亭公社。1984年，此地改设海滨村委会，属枫亭镇。[2]

宋代，钱江朱氏始祖赏公于宋宣和七年（1125年）迁居此地。[4]

文化[edit]

朱寨大宫又称新兴宫，始建于元代，宫中收藏有元代的若干文物，包括铜炉与围屏。1997年，它被列为县级文物保护单位。[1]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予海滨村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[4]
