溪北村隶属福建省莆田市仙游县枫亭镇，地处枫慈溪北岸，距镇政府驻地约9公里，村委会设在林兜。[1][2]

村名取自村子所在的位置，因在枫慈溪北岸而得名。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

明至清，此地称帝庙，属慈孝里的慈岳点。[2]

民国年间，此地并入霞社组成溪北保，归慈孝乡管。新中国成立后设为溪北乡，隶园庄区；之后划入第三区，又改属枫亭区。1958年先后编入枫亭公社，1961年改称溪北大队。1984年改设溪北村委会。[3]

地理环境[edit]

村内有坑里水库，还有狮潭坝与大板洋坝等水利设施。居民点集中在坝珠、林兜、大板洋、岳帝庙四处。[1]

经济[edit]

村民以农业为主，作物有水稻、甘薯、花生与大豆，山地多种马尾松与桉树，并产龙眼、荔枝。[1]
