社区位于鲤城街道东北部，靠着木兰溪中游北岸，离县城只有2公里，北侧倚靠将军山。[1]

因境内有万福宫，故名万福。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立前，此地属中山镇；1950年设立万福村，1984年组建村委会。2015年4月11日，村转为居委会，归鲤城街道管辖。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

九龙岩寺位于石兜，始建于宋末，文革期间荒废，现存建筑为20世纪80年代初期在旧址重修，为廊院式土木结构建筑。寺附摩崖石刻中有明代及光绪年间的题记。[2]
