联星村位于月塘镇西北一带。东侧与木材加工区相邻，北侧以石门山为界，接笏石镇四新村；西侧与东庄镇东红村衔接，南面紧挨坂尾社区。村名取“七星”之意：由九个自然村中的七处合并而成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，此地并入公社体制，成为其中一部分。1962年另设联星大队，1984年又改为联星村委会，当时归莆田县忠门乡管辖。此后隶属关系几经变动：1988年转入忠门镇，1997年划入月塘乡，2002年随之归秀屿区管理，2016年改隶月塘镇。[1]
