村境地形像一只凤凰，原称“凰岐”，后改名“黄岐”。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
宋元时属崇福乡，明清两代为六区武盛里所辖；1913年改属平海镇，1923年改属五区。[1]
经济[edit]
海蛎、紫菜、龙须菜的养殖是村中的主要生计。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年1月，村被命名为2023年福建省卫生村。[1]
