石塔村是埭头镇下辖的行政村，位于埭头至石城的中段，东邻翁厝村，西邻温李村，北面与大蚶山相连。村内辖8个自然村，分为18个村民小组。村名取自境内的一座石塔。[1]

1949年，村属12区的石塔乡；1954年改属23区（石城）的石塔大队。[1]
