许厝村位于东峤镇东南，东与埭头镇赤石村相邻。村委会驻厝前自然村，村内七个自然村依次为后溪、汀坪、赤坑、南浦、西牌、厝前和棋峰。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年为许厝村生产大队；1984年设许厝村委会，隶莆田县东峤乡。1992年起归东峤镇，2002年起归秀屿区。[1]
经济[edit]
村内以金银首饰、五金铁件、木材、石雕、建材和矿产等行业为生计主干，外出经营也是村民的重要来源。[2]
