秀山村属福建省莆田市秀屿区笏石街道，村名取秀郊与过山两个自然村的名字各一字。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年属第5区大崙保，1950年属第5区大崙乡，1952年属第9区笏石大崙乡。[1]

1954年至1955年分属第16区秀湖乡与笏石区秀湖乡，1956年设笏石公社秀山大队，1984年改为笏石镇秀山村委会。[1]

荣誉称号[edit]

2021年3月，秀山村被确定为「莆田市第十五届市级文明村镇（社区）」。[1]

2024年9月，秀山村被认定为「2024年莆田市一村一品专业村」，主导产业为豆腐皮。[1]
