四新村属福建省莆田市秀屿区笏石街道。据博雅地名网，它原为四乡保的一部分，后来独立设村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年为第5区笏石四乡保的一部分；1952年改设为笏石区四乡乡，1957年组成笏石乡四乡高级社。[1]

1967年改称四新大队，1984年起为笏石镇四新村委会。[1]

荣誉称号[edit]

福建省爱卫办在2021年11月把「2021年福建省卫生村」的称号授予四新村。[1]

2021年2月，四新村列入「福建省2018—2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]
