海滨村位于福建省莆田市荔城区黄石镇的兴化湾沿岸，东、北、西三面临海，与古港三江口隔海相望。村子获评「省级明星村」。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

此村早先称海边，因三面环海而得名。后改称海滨。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

明末，黄姓一支自涵江白塘迁来此地定居。此前这里属感德乡，之后在明清两代为三区连江里的一部分，1947年至1949年8月间，它归莆田县三区管辖，属华江乡的海浪保。[4]

新中国成立后归海浪乡，1956年设海边高级社，1958年至1967年为黄石公社的海边大队。1984年改称黄石镇海边村，1986年定名海滨村，2002年以后归荔城区黄石镇。[4]
