李厝村坐落在江口「九里洋」平原上，北望戴帽、古囊山脉，南面眺望兴化湾。村庄紧靠福厦国道，离江口征收站约一公里；周边海星、前面、新墩三村与之接壤。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明初洪武年间，白塘人李仲海迁来定居，村因姓氏得名。新中国成立前，村地属郊前乡，几经并组，1960年代初归江口公社管理。1984年底定名为村，2002年后归涵江区。[1][2]
经济[edit]
博雅地名网记村内耕地约二百亩（202亩），另有2350亩海滩涂可用于水产养殖，未注年份。[1]
2022年12月，村子获评「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]
